چکیده

Fusarium spp. cause significant plant diseases and are responsible for food contamination with mycotoxins. Sustainable crop protection relies on a combination of different measures; among others, plants contain bioactive compounds providing antifungal antimicrobial properties. Coriander seed extracts have composition rich in fatty acids, sterols, essential oils, polyphenols etc. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the properties coriander oil extract F. culmorum oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici vitro. The was obtained by Clevenger apparatus CO2 extraction method. A potato dextrose agar medium enriched inoculated discs, incubated radial growth colonies measured 3 7 days after inoculation. Results revealed that had higher than extract. No colony observed at 1000 µL/L concentration oil. In contrast, moderate properties, which were culmorum. Both showed potential be used as thus could help make more sustainable.

In vitro efficacy of Coriandrum sativum, Lippia sidoides and Copaifera reticulata against Leishmania chagasi Eficácia in vitro de Coriandrum sativum, Lippia sidoides e Copaifera reticulata sobre Leishmania chagasi

The increased incidence of visceral leishmaniasis (VL) in Brazil is due to a lack of effective disease control measures. In addition to that, no effective treatment exists for canine VL in response to synthetic drugs. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the essential oils of Coriandrum sativum and Lippia sidoides, and oleoresin from Copaifera reticulata, on Leishmani...

Effects of Coriandrum sativum extracts on glucose/serum deprivation- induced neuronal cell death

Objective: This study was planned to investigate whether Coriandrum sativum (C. sativum) is capable of protecting neurons against glucose/serum deprivation (GSD)-induced cytotoxicity. Material and Methods: The PC12 cells were cultivated for 24 h in standard media (high-glucose DMEM containing Fetal Bovine Serum) or for 6 h in GSD condition (glucose-free DMEM, without serum) in the absence or pr...

In vitro interactions of licensed and novel antifungal drugs against Fusarium spp.

We have studied the in vitro interactions of amphotericin B (AMB) with terbinafine (TBF), itraconazole, voriconazole (VCZ), albaconazole, and ravuconazole (RVZ), as well as TBF combined with the same azoles, against 11 isolates of Fusarium spp. using the fractional inhibitory concentration index. The highest percentage of synergistic interactions was observed for the combinations AMB-RVZ, TBF-V...
